I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.
On 23rd June this year I will be attempting to complete a 5k Race For Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination but I am challenging myself because I want to raise money to help fund vitally important research into preventing, diagnosing, treating and curing cancer. Anyone who knows me will understand the reasons why this cause is so close to my heart. Cancer is happening right now! People I know and love dearly are fighting the fight and I simply cannot sit back and do nothing. I am just one person and on my own I cannot make a difference but together we can!
So please take a moment to donate. Any donations, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received. It will take just a minute or two of your time but could help save lives. Many thanks xxx

Tomorrow’s the day! Preparation didn’t go exactly to plan - a pulled muscle, cough and a cold has hindered my progress but all of that pales into insignificance when I think about the reason why we are taking part. It doesn’t matter how fast or how slow we go, one way or another we will cross the finish line UNITED ❤️
