I’m raising money in memory of my granny who struggled with this horrendous disease 🦠
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to front crawl, breaststroke and backstroke my way to 10k in August both outdoors and indoors to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My granny was struck down with this horrendous disease 🦠 when I was 13, and I have other close family and friends who have battled and survived whilst others have not. I just wanted to challenge myself to raise some cash for this amazing charity to enable them to come closer to finding a cure. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
