My Story
Cancer is happening right now, It took my beloved Dad away from me. My strong beloved Dad sadly passed away towards the end of November 2018 from Small Cell Lung Cancer. Only 10/15 percent of the population get diagnosed with this type of aggressive Lung Cancer. Unfortunately my Dad was diagnosed at a very late stage, only a week before passing away. He silently fought his own brave battle with Cancer. I am hoping that any money raised by me taking part in this 5k race for life will be used for further research and screening into this type of Small Cell Lung Cancer so maybe very early detection and treatment could be offered to save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
