Shine Night Walk - Half Marathon
Sat 23 Sep 2017
I have beaten this cruel disease & I fully appreciate the value of this amazing charity.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2016. I then underwent 6months of intensive treatment. This was a very difficult time for me, my family & friends, but I have survived & live to tell the tale. One year on I have been given the all clear & we are starting to get our lives back to a bit of normality. If it wasn't for the charity funding new research, my story might have been very different. I have done many walks in the past few years for cancer research & now I am getting back my fitness I intend to do more. I am starting with the Shine Half Marathon this September & then.... watch this space.
