My Story
This charity is really close to my heart. As many of you know, my mum luckily beat breast cancer last year. 2 of my friends are currently battling this horrendous disease and many many people are subject to it. Last year I walked the course but this year, after losing 3 stone, my aim is to run the entire course, only stopping when waiting for the obstacles. After never being able to run more than 10 seconds, I’ve been in training to run 5k which I have done most weeks for the past few months so hopefully this R4L should be a breeze. I’m hoping to lose 1 more stone in 8 weeks to make me more fit to run it. Every penny counts. I never thought it’d happen to my family but unfortunately it did. Never say never and never think it won’t happen to you. Cancer is so unpredictable.
