My Story
At weird times like these, it makes you think what are the most important things in life, what makes you happy and how you can make life better. The gang, though enjoy keeping fit (to counter balance the red wine and carbs consumed), wouldn’t say running was their favourite activity. This month they will be challenging themselves by running 50 miles each in the month of August to raise money and awareness for STANDUP TO CANCER. A disease that has affected both of our families more than once. The money raised will help take breakthroughs in the lab and transform them into treatments and cures for cancer patients who need them now and in the future!

100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.
