Lydia's 100K Run/walk Giving page

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. As many of you are probably aware - I’m not the fittest person and definitely not a runner, so what better way to fundraise than run (and inevitably some walking) 100K through the month of May! (All following social distancing rules and only going out once a day). Seeing everyone compete their 5K runs on Instagram got me realising how simple it is to do something to raise money and that I could use this time to raise some more. I think it's important to remember that many charities are struggling at this time due to lack of funding - charity shops are closed and fundraising events are being cancelled with many frequent donators moving their focus to coronavirus. Cancer doesn't stop for anyone and I believe it's more important than ever to ensure those most vulnerable are getting the support they need.
