My Story
Thank you SO MUCH for visiting our page! We are so excited to have exceeded our target of £5k for the amazing Cancer Research UK charity. We don't need to say it because you all know about it which is why it's so sad, but cancer is indiscriminate and affects each and every one of us in one way or another. We decided that rather than spend oodles of money on a big fancy wedding, which would have been lovely as well of course, we'd prefer to spend our money on a flippin' good night out for all of our family and friends and at the same time do all that we can to raise a big chunk of cash via our Cancer Research fundraising page for the very dedicated and clever people at Cancer Research UK. SO LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GOOOO!!! Please remember we don't want any cards or gifts - we request anything family or friends would have spent on us instead to be donated to Cancer Research. The auction we plan on holding at the charity gig reception will raise extra money as well. Jez will be running a 10k tough mudder on 1st July at Delamere so any donations to our page to spur him on would be fantastic. Come along too and give him a cheer!! If you work for a business who might have something we could auction or raffle we'd be so grateful if you could get in touch because that’ll be our last drive to smash the target even further! We love live music and have a great night of bands booked for the stage, a DJ, CHARITY cocktails and champagne, food, fun and loads of laughs! Looking forward to getting married and spending a fab day together to remember forever. Our big inspiration is Jez's mum, Alison and we’re doing this for her as well as everyone who's fighting or fought a cancer battle, and in memory of those who are no longer with us because of this awful disease.
