My Story

Cancer is a subject that’s close to my heart, and has impacted our whole family in so many ways. Without vital research into cancer, life would be very different today. February 4th is World Cancer Day, so I’m calling on my family and friends to raise money for Cancer Research UK’s vital work so we can save more lives in the UK and around the world. Because of the pandemic we’re raising money virtually, and I’m collecting a virtual “Bucket for Change” to help raise money for life-saving research. All your donations are valuable and appreciated. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
