My Story
For anybody who knows me or knows my family knows what a difficult year it's been for all of us, but especially for my big sister Gemma. Last year she was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer. She had to undergo surgery to get rid of a cancerous tumour and also had nearly half of her liver cut out because the cancer had killed it off. She's only 33. Unfortunately she still has to fight on because the other part of her liver has cancerous tumours also. Before my sister was diagnosed she had been feeling a bit poorly, but never thought that she had cancer. It was a shock to everyone, but she's been amazing. She still does her job every day, she smiles through chemo treatment and she is taking part in the pretty muddy with the rest of us. She's an absolute inspiration! For anybody that never wants to feel the fear of the word cancer, to anybody who never wants to see the suffering it causes. For anybody that wants rid of this horrible vicious disease, please help by donating. The sooner we rid the world of cancer the better. Thank you
