I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Grandma Stella and Grandad Bob

This year is the 30th anniversary of my Grandma and Grandads death. Cancer took both of them at such a young age only 1 week apart! Whilst this was absolutely heartbreaking I know I am not alone with a story like this. I have seen first hand people living with cancer and family and friends experiencing really difficult times due to this disease . I also know lots of people who manage to overcome this dreadful disease. It is only with research that we will continue to hear more stories of survival and I for one want to help in anyway I can. So after hanging up my running shoes over 20yrs ago, having an auto immune disease myself and having my two children I decided it was time to make sure I was as healthly as I could be. With that, I found my love for running again. And what better way to challenge myself than the 10k race for life. If you can, I would appreciate if you could help me along the way and donate to this worthy cause.
