My Grandad
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. On the 19th September 2017 my Grandad passed away after suffering from cancer. To see him go through such a horrible illness and all the gruelling treatment broke my heart. My Grandad lost his battle, but by raising money to help fight cancer I hope that a cure can be found so no one else has to go through what he did. Cancer is an illness that doesn’t care about gender or race or anything else; it just destroys people. That’s why by running this 5k I hope to help contribute to the research dedicated to finding a cure. My Grandad was someone who always helped people whenever they needed it and so by doing this and raising money, I hope to do him proud. Please donate what you can and support this amazing cause xx
