For all those still fighting, I want to raise money to help find a cure
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Unfortunately in 2018, my sister got diagnosed with breast cancer. So in honour of her amazing ability to smile her way through treatment I thought the least I could do was to raise some money to help find a cure for this stupid disease. Running isn't something that comes naturally but if she can go through that, I can force myself to exercise! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me so we can kick cancers butt.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
