My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us running a very muddy 5k if you can. For me, this race started with a call from my oldest friend Lucy. Her Mum (who we all fondly refer to as Mumma Hazel) has been diagnosed with cancer. We're all pulling together to support the Martin family through this really testing time. Hopefully the sight of Lucy, her sister Jessica and I sliding through mud and obstacles will bring a smile to everyone's face. Let the evening practice runs begin!
