I'm tackling a Pretty Muddy, with my best friends, to raise money and beat cancer sooner.
Mine, along with millions of other families across the globe have been struck by cancer. In the late 2000's I lost my beloved Great-Grandma to cancer and my family was recently shocked by my niece being diagnosed with leukaemia. Wonderfully, due to the current advancements she made a full recovery and we recently held a party to celebrate this. However it was in no way an easy journey and it is torture seeing somebody you love in so much pain. Therefore I believe that it is our place to fight for those who no longer can to defeat this horrendous disease. I will participating in the Race for Life 5k Pretty Muddy on the 23rd June. It will be hard work (and possibly disgusting) but I am excited to join in an event with such a fantastic motivation. Please support my friends and I by donating. It can be as little or as much as you like. Every pound raised will go into research to defeat the monster that is cancer.
