My Story
On the night of 21st September, I will be walking a 26-mile course around London to raise money for Cancer Research UK. It's going to hurt! However, it's also going to be uplifting, as I will be walking with friends and we will all be raising money to improve and extend the lives of others. Cancer UK's scientists have helped double survival rates in the last 40 years but they are not stopping there. Money raised will support earlier diagnosis of many cancers and the development of more sophisticated and successful treatments. Research into minimising the side effects of treatments will also seek to improve the quality of life for sufferers both during and after treatment. I will have three special ladies in mind as I do this walk, all precious to people very close to me. I'd imagine you may have someone precious in mind as you read this. Every single pound you donate will make a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work and potentially benefit our friends and families in the future. Any donation you make will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
