My Story

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page! I’m going to be doing the Run 100 Miles challenge this April to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Running is not something that comes easily to me, but this is a disease close to my heart and so many others. A friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with cancer, but the bravery and positivity they have shown is incredible. They inspire me every single day. So this is for them, and everyone else out there continuing their battle.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
