Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. My mum was a victim to this horrible disease and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. Even now nearly 13 years on, I cannot see how much has actually changed, apart from more and more people suffering from this awful disease. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
