We need to eradicate cancer once and for all!

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. My husband David was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014 and after lots of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and many operations (including a total laryngectomy and partial pharyngectomy) he continues the battle. 4 tumours in just 3 years... with the latest tumour being wrapped around his carotid artery. He is just 44 years old, has no voice and is currently feeding via an NG tube and is undergoing a third round of radiotherapy (over 90 doses in total). 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
