Lucy Mae's Race for Life
Derby 5k 2019
Sun 30 Jun 2019 - Sun 30 Jun 2019
My name is Lucy-Mae and I am running the race for life on the 30th June. I am raising money to beat cancer sooner.
The reason why I am raising money and taking part in this race is because this is a horrible disease that is affecting my family. My great grandad Roy passed away of Stomach cancer and now my amazing Nanny is fighting the disease. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
