My Story
As many of you will know, my Nan sadly lost her fight last September with lung cancer. She was one of the best people I knew and I am proud to be able to say she was my nan. She was kind hearted, strong-willed, courageous and always smiling, never letting anything get her down. Even though there have been medical advancements, cancer is still happening right now; with 1 in 2 people still being said to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I normally take part in the Race for Life, however this year it is so much more special, as I want to continue her legacy and continue to make her proud.
