My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Cancer has affected pretty much everyone at some point in their lives, I’ve personally lost 3 of my 4 grandparents to cancer. And working as a nurse have witnessed first hand the heartbreak this cruel disease brings so frequently. Please donate anything you can, no matter how small, and let’s fight this together 👊🏻

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
