In memory of
My Wonderful Dad - Richard Henry Nash
My dear dad tragically died from cancer - he was only 60. He was just months away from retirement, which he had been looking forward to so much. This cruel disease took him away from us way too soon. It was 36 long years ago, I was only 22 at the time and I still miss my wonderful dad. He missed out on so much - he didn't get to see my fantastic daughters, he would have loved them so much. He didn't get to meet his gorgeous grandchildren, he would have adored them. My lovely cousin Pat also sadly died from cancer. A lovely lady who was so kind to me when I was a little girl. Then there's me ......... Well, I'm one of the lucky ones - I'm a survivor. I run in quite a few events, many are for charity. However, I don't like to ask for sponsorship as lots of people are hard up these days and I just don't like to keep asking people. This event is different though - because it is so close to my heart. This a special event for me, the only one where I ask my dear friends and family to sponsor me. So please lovely people if you could sponsor me a pound or two I would really, really appreciate it. Thank you
