My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. This disease has got ever more close to home with family being newly diagnosed and some of them back to treatment. Even when people survive which thankfully is starting to happen more and more there is still the aftermath of the treatments and mental strain left for those living with it and their families. I'm not normally one to get involved but it feels like no more than ever I want to do something to help. I'll pay the 50 quid myself if I need to but if you can spare (and I know times are hard so I won't be offended) any small amount I'd be so grateful...#staystrong
