My Story
Those of you who know me will know that my back is fairly rubbish and sometimes running can be difficult or impossible. However, cancer hasn't gone away yet, and it has dared to affect some people that I love very much. That's why I am taking part in Race for Life. If I can run 5K, then great! If not, I will walk it. I will even get round the course on crutches if I have to! Everyone doing Race for Life is doing it to raise money and help save lives. 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetimes. That could be you, your partner, your parents or other loved ones. Heartbreakingly, I have seen families go through the grief of losing a child to cancer; every parent's worst nightmare.
