My Story
Well, it’s got me. I’m newly diagnosed and am coming to terms with it with the help of all my friends and family. This fundraiser is showing what a strong team spirit we have at Pirehill and how we work together. Thank you, everyone, for signing up for this fun time for a serious cause. We need to keep helping the research teams to find a way to beat this disease. Fundraising is the key. By the time the race occurs I will have had surgery and hopefully be well on the way to recovery and aim to take part myself with this wonderful team of supporters. Thank you all for being with me as I travel along this path of worry and uncertainty, but above all - hope. It is a ‘race for life’ and that phrase means so much more now to us all. Lou x
