Raise awareness and funds for colorectal Cancer research through the sales of artwork
My Story
At the beginning of the year, I received a diagnosis of colorectal cancer, and the treatment has been incredibly tough. One significant side effect has been peripheral neuropathy in my hands. This makes them hypersensitive to cold and causes painful pins and needles, meaning I often need to wear gloves until the chemotherapy starts to wear off. Unfortunately, each subsequent round builds on the last. During my recovery periods, I’ve been finding solace in creating, doing what I can even with gloves on! This has led to the emergence of loose acrylic artworks. I will be donating 50% of all sales to bowel cancer research through my giving page.

CAUSE
Bowel cancers
Each year, around 44,100 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in the UK. That’s around 120 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat bowel cancer.
