June,Emma & myself are walking The Bronte Way (44m) to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Thank you for visiting our Fundraising Page. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Have you ever been affected by cancer? Most people have. In fact, one in three of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. I have lost my mum to cancer, June’s mum is currently undergoing treatment with trials,Emma and ourselves have all had friends affected by cancer in one way or another. This is why we have decided to raise money for “Cancer Research UK.” We have chosen to walk The Bronte Way one weekend in June covering 71km of the Pennines, starting at Gawthorpe Hall Lancs, finishing at Oakwell Hall, West Yorkshire. Appropriately, co-inciding with the 200 yr anniversary of Emily Bronte birth. Pictures will be updated along the way - we will hopefully be walking but maybe crawling ! 😀

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
