Personally this is a cause I am passionate about as we all know too well it can impact anyone at anytime. I have such respect for friends and family who have faced cancer and indeed grateful for the care they have received. Closest to home my mum experienced cancer twice and 18 years on we miss her dearly. She continues to be such an inspiration to me. There are some amazing examples of where medical intervention has been timely and people have survived which gives great hope for continued medical progress. Therefore, I am taking this challenge in hope to fundraise for further research into this important cause and would appreciate your support.
