I think this is race number 12! I have always done Race for Life for various people over the years. So 6 years ago it was a shock to be doing it for my Mum. But 6 years later she is still here, having beaten breast cancer. I always do it for my Mum and in memory of my Auntie Rita and for my friend Charlotte's Mum. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
