Adam's Mummy

Adam Dominic Morris, my super cool, free spirited son died on the 22nd February 2015 aged 23 years, 2 weeks and 1 day. Adam had many passions and interests such as art, film and gaming but his life and love was music - listening, playing, composing, mixing, producing and performing. Adam, having set up a music label in University, aimed to release his own music along with supporting the music of others - something he continued to do until the end. Adam was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive neuro endocrine cancer just a week after completing his music degree. This rare, silent, cowardly cancer appeared without warning and wreaked havoc on my beautiful boy. Adam's greatest regret at having a terminal illness was that he would never achieve his musical aspirations. Those of us who love Adam will be forever heartbroken at the loss of such a unique, vibrant, dynamic person but we were lucky to have him in our lives, albeit for such a short time. We need to prevent the loss of our loved one’s through cancer research and we are running in memory of Adam to ensure his star continues to shine.
