My Story
Hello lovely people - no pressure at all but If you can spare any money please donate to cancer research UK on our page. We are doing the 10,000 step March challenge (That's 30,000 steps a day between the 3 of us). Why should you give up your hard earned money for us doing a few extra steps? Let us tell you a bit more about us and why we are doing this: Louise: Well this time last year I was an inactive person who was overweight and unhappy. On top of this my risk of developing various serious health conditions was severely heightened. I am in the process of changing my life this year and now (nearly 100lbs lighter) I want to use my new found health to help others. I work in an office and do on average 3000 steps per day in my normal life so it will be an active and conscious effort to meet this challenge. It is also an excellent cause and critical work and I would be proud to contribute to supporting them. Dawn: Like many people I have seen the effects cancer has on individual lives and the lives of loved ones, I am taking part to contribute to this cause but also as a personal challenge to motivate myself to be more active and improve my personal health. Naomi: Cancer research is very dear to me as I lost my Mum to cancer almost 20 years ago and I have supported other friends and family who have been diagnosed with cancer over the past few years. It will never go away but hopefully with people doing their bit to help fundraise to support research into overcoming this, one day it might go away! I also am trying to get fitter as I get older so having others to support me in this I might achieve something. Thank you for your donation and support. Cancer touches so many of us and although research has produced so much hope - so many people are still sadly lost to cancer. Thank you so much for your donation and support.
