My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. I never ever imagined one of them would be me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June and feel overwhelmed just how much I am going to rely on Cancer Research to help me overcome what lays ahead. I have faith that I will beat this. As I will be in mid Chemo in September, my good friend Lisa has offered to take my place. Lisa has also taken part in many charity events and has agreed to wear a pink wig for me and I will hopefully be cheering her and the rest of Gems Warriors on from the sidelines. I will continue to support this cause and wish all those that have been affected all the love and strength to beat cancer!
