I'm swapping my lacrosse stick for boxing gloves. The boil-and-bite mouthguard I bought as a fresher will come in handy once more! On Thursday 3rd October, I’ll be entering the boxing ring and taking part in Ultra White Collar Boxing to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer. Yep, bit bonkers. But I need your cash! Let's make a deal.... •If I raise £1000, i'll wear an orange clown wig to work for a day. If I raise £2000, i'll wear it for a week. •If I raise £3000, well this is getting silly. I'll wear an orange spandex morphsuit to work. Happy now?! Anyone that knows me knows that doing anything in front of large crowds is totally out of my comfort zone. The majority of my family's reactions via email / Facebook have been along the lines of "Have you gone insane?!" or "Don't get knocked out in the first round" - excellent advice thaaaanks This is an opportunity of a lifetime and for such a great cause. It's a chance to meet new people, train as a team again, push myself and gain confidence at work. I know that i'm going to get so much from this. Please dig deep and let's hit cancer where it hurts.
