My Story

After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why we’ll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. On Saturday 3rd October 2020, we will be walking a 10K route from Nettleden through Great Gaddesden and ending at The Alford Arms (we’re not daft! 😉). We’ve done zero training, we’re not particularly fit but we would love you to support us and this wonderful cause. We need you! Please donate what you can 😘. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
