I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 9 years old. I was diagnosed with a Wilms’ tumor (cancer of the kidney). A Wilm’s tumor is rare. I was told before my biopsy that I was going to die. Thank fully I was transferred to a specialist cancer hospital and there I was probably diagnosed. After chemotherapy and a operation to remove my kidney I was in remission. I was later told I wouldn’t be able to have kids or I would struggle because I only have one kidney. 12 years layers I fell pregnant with my first child. Now at the age of 26 I have 2 beautiful children and conceived with no issues at all. I am cancer free and have been for 17 years now. But what we need to remember is that no all stories are like mine. Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Please read my story if you haven’t already.
