My Story
John and Matt have both had cancer and come through the other side. John, my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer, in a few weeks our lives were turned upside down. Thanks to Southampton General hospitals Mr Lockyer consultant who looked after John, all the other doctors, nurses and staff in the oncology department he had his surgery and now just had his second check and he is still all clear, Matt, my son had testicular cancer, He was treated by doctors in the USA and is also clear. I’m doing the race for life with, Jo, Andrew, Emily, Sam and Oliver just a little way to raise awareness of how cancer can touch family’s and try to raise money for a great cause x any donation would be great xx

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
