I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK by shaving my head to raise awareness.
My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Just three and a half years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer of the womb. I was one of the very fortunate ones, I had a hysterectomy and this successfully removed all the cancerous cells, therefore no more treatment was necessary. I feel very very fortunate so I have decided to partake in a head shave in order to raise as much as I can to continue with research and help others. I have always been very fussy with my hair, so doing this head shave will be very scary but so important to me. Some friends of mine are still going through treatment, therefore I would like to support them and anyone else facing this battle and feel this would help to raise more awareness. Any donations would be highly appreciated and please feel free to come and support me on the day at Hair by Esme in Martin on Saturday 8th June @ 2:30pm.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
