Lorna's Walk All Over Cancer Fundraising Page

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m trying to walk 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. I need some motivation to get fitter and to get out of the house so this seems the perfect opportunity. Cancer has affected people close to me, friends and family, so I see this as a worthwhile cause. I’ve previously done the Moonwalk, but to keep this up every day will be quite a challenge for me. Some days I can barely make it round Morrisons and back home again. However, I’ve got a few weeks to get some practice in, and long term this will be beneficial to my own health too. At least I hope it will!! So, I can’t promise to complete 10,000 steps a day, every day, but I will certainly give it my all. I have also started doing Rockfit classes online, so some days I will be combining my walking with Rockfit too. Having struggled greatly with pain by the time I’m getting to the weekend, I’m going to do 5,000 steps on a Saturday and Sunday. I’m in chronic pain daily as it is, but this is adding to it, but I don’t want to give up.
