Thank you for raising money for life-saving work. All the money raised is being used to help beat cancer

Still want to donate?

My family were affected by cancer last year. This year I'd like to raise money to help cure cancer.

In memory of

My mum (cancer survivor), Uncle Mario & my Nanny C

My Story

In January 2013 my uncle (mum's younger brother) died of a horrible cancer - stomach cancer. He fought hard against it (twice) but sadly died. He was too young. A while before that we lost my Nanny C (dad's mum) to another difficult cancer - bowel cancer. Just before Christmas 2015 my family were affected again. This time by breast cancer. A simple Mammogram scan picked it up and with fast NHS treatment from dedicated doctors and support from Macmillan nurses, my mum beat this cancer. I'm doing this 5k with my mum and my best friends, Laura and Charlotte. Please sponsor me (or our team) so that in the future less people will be affected by cancer. At the moment, 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every pound makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s work and we can save lives. This page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
