My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. As some of you may know, the fight against cancer is something that is very close to my heart, having lost my dear dad to cancer last April and my mum having had her own battle with it too. As part of my 2019 New Year resolutions, I made a commitment to 'get fit' and to also raise money for the fight against all cancers, so I thought why not combine those two goals, and start with little baby steps for my first fundraising challenge, and WALK ALL OVER CANCER? So this March I will be walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. If you can, please Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by donating any spare pennies/loose change you may have lying around ... every little penny donated helps to fund research and treatments to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
