As some of you may know unfortunately we lost my Nanny Rose 🌹 to small Cell lung cancer on 16th March so I am taking on this challenge in honour of her. Nanny Rose was the best Nanny and she is dearly missed by myself, my mother (her Daughter), my sister and my sons (her great Grandsons) but will live on in us and will never be forgotten. We have many memories to cherish and we’re lucky enough to get to spend our last Christmas all together in Ireland at home. Nanny was the strongest and Bravest lady I knew and already beat cervical cancer many years ago and went on to life her life watching us grow for all these years until the great age of 83. Life is very different for us all now but cancer is something that is very close to my heart for a number of reasons from other family members also being lost from this awful disease or having to fight against it although this is to honour Nanny Rose. I will be starting my walks with Rosie (the westie) from 1st - 5th April as I am currently in Ireland supporting my mum. I had already booked this time to come and spend with Nanny Rose and have been over many times since she was diagnosed. For the rest of April I will be returning home and continuing my walks with my Dog Ace (the Husky). Let’s help kick Cancer by doing all that we can as it can effect any of us.
