Longest Day Up - Stu Evans

Total raised
£7,075.00
+ £1,232.50 Gift Aid
This challenge was started 10 years ago in aid of Cancer Research UK, asking motorcyclists to ride cheap and inappropriate motorcycles from Land’s End to John O'Groats in 24hrs on the longest day of the year. The motorcycles cannot have cost more than £600 to purchase and use of motorways on the route is not permitted! My ride for this year has been lovingly resurrected (sworn at, beaten and generally abused in every mechanical sense) after standing in a barn for the last 12 years. Having managed to get it to a roadworthy state I’m now working on getting myself in shape for the challenge! We probably all have relatives and close friends who have succumbed to Cancer, or who are living with this awful disease today. This year I will be riding to remember Sarah Iveson - work colleague, friend and godmother to my daughters, sadly lost earlier this year - and Dave Leckenby, who sadly passed recently.
