Uncle Mick
This year I will be walking in memory of Uncle Mick who sadly lost his battle with this cruel disease in September 2018. Cancer robs so many people of loved ones every year. I want to try to raise as much as I can to help beat this. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat.
