My Story
Every year I like to take part in the Race for Life, to start with it was to do my bit and raise awareness but devistatingly become in memory of my Dad. He was a caring, strong willed and supportive person and everyone has a story about him! Dad was diagnosed with agressive terminal esophageal cancer and died after 7 weeks of diagnosis. He died in the comfort of our family home surround by his children and their partners. Sadly it advanced very quickly but the doctors and nurses were amazing. Everyone has been affected by cancer in one way or another and this is why it is so important that we kick it's ass! It's simple, more money means more research. Any amount is a step closer!
