My Story
On the 18th of November the Thomas Jet Engines myself, Sally Thomas and Peter Thomas will be running the #Tough10 a10k around Box Hill. None of us have trained, and only two of us have boobs but neither the less we will be whizzing around the track with impeccable style and sophistication (if only metaphorically). If you would like to support us or come along on the day - Guy Thomas will be chief photographer, the details are as follows. Donations will fund new lab equipment, microscopes and research centers which make a huge difference to scientists finding breakthroughs in all types of cancer. You can read up on my breast cancer story here. https://medium.com/@LizziThomas/lessons-from-my-boobs-part-1-the-diagnosis-a8821abc25bc Time: Starts at 10am Venue: Box Hill, Surrey, RH4 1QA Route: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1OYHIZQnqESZPlymSqHThu6OHRb8&ll=51.25324347986893%2C-0.3123874999999998&z=14 http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/find-an-event/charity-runs/tough-10/tough-10-box-hill

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
