I am doing a 10k walk to raise money for pancreatic cancer, this is the horrible cancer that took my best friend, my mum away from me nearly 8 years ago. This cancer is one of the hardest to diagnose and beat and more research needs to be done, so please donate, every penny can help towards finding a cure and help people survive this awful cancer. Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
