Liz's Very 2020 Race for Life
In memory of
Brian, Gerry, Jade, Marion and everyone else I've ever known who has lost their life from cancer
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's one of the reasons why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please sponsor me today! This year is also the year that my mum was given her 5 year all clear from cancer and she is finally able to come off her medication. Now she is no longer struggling with the side effects of medication and as a way of giving something back to the team who looked after her, she will be joining me for 5k. I also have several good friends who are currently undergoing their own battles with cancer and the gruelling treatment that goes with it. I am also completing Race For Life for them. If you’d like to join the Very 2020 Race for Life community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/2020 We won’t let 2020 stop us.
