I have done many Race for Life runs over the years, both in Rotherham and Sheffield, but none will be as poignant as the one I will be running on Sunday 16 June 2019. This time I will be running with a heavy heart in memory of my beautiful Mum, June, who sadly lost her battle to this horrific disease 2 years ago. Such an amazingly brave woman, she was an inspiration to me and was always the first one to sponsor me in this race. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
