My Story
This September, I’m taking on Sweatember, exercising every day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured by sponsoring me. In 2015 I lost my dad who fought a long battle with Stomach Cancer. I got diagnosed in November 2018 with Ovarian Cancer and after chemo and a major operation I am now in remission. I’ve no idea what the future holds but I’m determined to live my life now the best I can.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
